Ancient Mariner Books
I visited a book store in Annaville today, yup it's blowing up, a fucking book store man! It's called "Ancient Mariner Books" and its located at 11229 Leopard, (right across from McDonalds on Violet). Surprisingly, and honestly, it's the coolest book store I've ever been in. The owner, Tim, was very friendly and excessively knowledgeable about literature. He has some of the rarest and most interesting books I've laid eyes on. I found a first edition of Einstein's Cosmic Religion , and he's holding it for me because I didn't have enough funds for my fancy. Anyways, if there are any Annavillians out there reading this, check it out for your own sake. This building is where it's at.
Benjamin Button
I saw The Curious Case of Benjamin Button last night and loved it. It was great visually, the cast was great, graphics of the old man were very believable, and the story amazing as well. Some very funny supporting characters; the "lightning guy" was hilarious, the captain/artist, as well as his mother. I say 5 stars, flawless. Brad Pitt took to this part very well, it being a very strange character for someone to imagine themselves as. Go see it for yourself.

Life On Mars???
Like I was talking about before, rumors have been shooting through the airwaves lately about NASA finding life on Mars, but to soothe all the conspirators they've released this article... enjoy CLICK ME
(1972) : Solaris
I just witnessed one of the greatest, and longest, sci-fi movies ever made. 'Solaris' , based on the novel by Stanislaw Lem, was a psychological sci-fi movie based on an alien planet that seems to be affected by the presence of the human conscience. The ocean-planet appears to feed off of dreams, brain waves, or just the psyche in general, but primarily at night time. In the words of Ken Andrews, it's "...ON AN OCEAN THAT HAS A BRAIN AND MAKES US DREAM." It physically manifests memories; places, people, etc. from one's past. Great movie, but it's about 3+ hours, so unless you really like old sci-fi, maybe just watch the remake, its about half the length. Click the title to check out the specs.

+++Peony Nebula-Star
Some sweet videos posted on Nasa's site. I was reading about the new Phoenix discoveries on mars, and yes they did find water. There's rumors floating around the internet that information was heavily filtered before it was released, and complete omission of some important details may have occurred.

Pineapple Express!!!
I saw a promotional screening of 'Pineapple Express' last night and I can't wait to see it again. I haven't laughed that hard at the movies, ever. James Franco was the best stoner ever, I wouldn't be surprised if he was actually high on set. Anyways, it was hilarious and Lumburg is the bad guy, and also hilarious. Go see this movie immediately... well when it comes out. FIVE STARS!!!! seriously five.
Hitchhiking in La Quemada
I took this photo on a road in La Quemada south of Zacatecas. It's two panoramic shots sewed together in photo-chop, making it a full 180 degrees!!! We got dropped off at the wrong place by our genius bus driver, and we caught another bus, and yet again were dropped off incorrectly. So we were walking down this road for awhile until we realized it. We hitchhiked to the road the ruins were located on. Anyways, check it out.
Galactus '08... and others
GALACTUS NOW!!!
If you don't know who galactus is, and your on my blog, now is the time to learn. Galactus is the cosmic character in the Marvel Comics Universe who eats planets, Gulay! He is my favorite marvel character not only because he eats planets, or because of his kick ass suit and helmet, but because he lived in the Universe that existed prior to the present as Galan. He lived through the Big Crunch and The Big Bang and is now considered a force of nature, not just a mere physical being. His path is like the word of god, undisputable, (except the O.G. Testament). This is my first sketch, I'm still working on it, but I figured I'd upload it anywho.

Mexican Church
I took this photo in Zacatecas, Mexico. It's supposedly one of the most catholic cities in all of Mexico, so pretty much right under the Vat. The city in general was amazing, everyone there was extremely kind to me as a tourist, which was surprising. I traveled all over the city, to it's mine's, mountains, museums, bars; everything was great. Inexpensive but not cheap, found some good musical instruments there, and had a chance to take some great photos.
